We are building a future where no child suffers in silence. aside from continuing to support every survivor who we reach, Our mission is to expand our impact by continuing to offer Stewards of Children® trainings and reaching every school in our region with prevention education. But we’re not stopping there. With strong connections in government and partnerships across Latin America, we’re laying the groundwork to grow nationally and internationally—uniting with organizations that share our vision.
One of our boldest goals is to create a model region—a place where every report of abuse is taken seriously, every perpetrator is brought to justice, and every survivor receives the full support they need to heal. We aim to prove what’s possible when prevention, accountability, and compassion come together—and to replicate that model across the country and beyond.

We have many projects that make up our normal, essential work, however there are some projects that need special attention, and also special funding. We would be immensely grateful for your help and donations.
We are launching a groundbreaking initiative in Hatillo, Costa Rica—a pilot project designed to become a national and international model for how communities can effectively confront and eliminate child sexual abuse. This Model Project brings together schools, local authorities, healthcare professionals, legal experts, and survivor advocates to create a fully integrated system where prevention, reporting, accountability, justice, and healing work seamlessly together.
Every report is taken seriously. Every perpetrator is pursued and prosecuted. And every survivor receives immediate care, legal support, and a path toward healing. Our goal is to prove what’s possible—then replicate it in communities across Costa Rica and beyond. Because when a system truly protects its children, the cycle of abuse ends.
Everything we do at Del Silencio a la Libertad—from rescuing survivors and providing shelter, to running prevention trainings and legal support—relies entirely on the generosity of private donors. We receive no government funding, and yet the need continues to grow. Every week, more women and children come to us seeking safety, hope, and a way forward.
